Talk To Mistra in Atlantis for this quest, you can do it 5x a day
Beginning at Level 20 a player can enter the Knight's Jail instance. Their first time in they should be able to obtain 1 repeatable quest, 1 quest to obtain a mount and 1 quest that awards a lot of EXP. After completing these 3 quests they will only be able to obtain the repeatable quest, and possibly also the Knights Jail (Trial) quest given by Hiagara. The Knights Jail instance itself can only be entered by a player 5 times a day.
- Note: A master can take his disciple/s into Knights Jail to earn tutor stars. The master has to be the party leader. And a party consisting of only one master and their disciple/s will result in double Stamps for both. The Master must choose the Apprentice option before entering Knights Jail.
The Basics
- - Monster levels in Knights Jail are determined by the average level of party members (add all levels then divide by the # of party members to find the average).
- - Make sure everyone is fully healed and ready (with food/potion etc..), there are five bosses and most will use an AOE attack at least once before they die.
- - The party leader must talk to Champion Elder Mistra to summon the first group of monsters, and then each other NPC present within the instance in order to summon the next group..
- - All party members must be close to Mistra and the other various NPCs in order for the various groups of monsters to be summoned.
- - All monsters in each group must be killed before the next can be summoned (watch the kill counter each time a monster is killed if you need to to be sure you got them all).
Inside the Knight's Jail : The Beginning
- - The leader must talk to the NPC inside to spawn the first group of mobs (30 escaped convicts).
- - Kill (capture) all 30 escaped convicts.
- - You cannot proceed further unless ALL 30 have been killed/captured.
Inside the Knight's Jail : The Four Corners
- - Proceed to the closest corner after you have completely killed the first 30 monsters, then gather around the NPC and have the leader Summon the next group.
- - For safety's sake, have the weaker group members (lower level players, or healers/magus') stand back inside the jail cells or in one of the corners outside the cells because in order to keep them from getting swarmed with monsters as soon as they spawn.
- - Each of these final four NPCs will summon 1 Mini Boss and several add-ons.
- - High level and strong players often manage to use their XP skills to immediately wipe out the entire group, or all the add-ons.
- - After the Mini Boss and all the add-ons are killed move on to the next closest corner of the map and continue this process until all 4 Mini Bosses are dead.
Inside the Knight's Jail : The Boss
- - After all four Mini Bosses are killed, even before the entire last group of add-ons are killed, the main Boss will spawn in the center of the room.
- - Hannibal has a fairly powerful AOE and plenty of HP, so make sure the lower levels or weaker characters keep their distance while he is being killed.
Inside the Knight's Jail : Getting Out
- - After killing Hannibal talk to the Champion Elder Mistra NPC to leave the instance. He is in the center of the Southern area of the room.
- - Once outside, remember to turn in your quests, and then retake them and reset the instance if you are going to do more runs.
